General Information: In order for Slides n' Moore to properly fill your order, we need to know exactly what you want. Please complete the Slide Work Order and/or Existing Photo Work Order and clearly identify each slide and/or photograph you send us. Detail any special handling you might want using as many additional pages as necessary. If there any questions, please contact us via phone or eMail us before mailing your order.

Before sending Slides n' Moore any document processing orders, you must contact us via phone or eMail.

If you want custom prints, or special processing such as color balancing and retouching, be sure and contact us to get our price quotes. Include clear written instructions with your order.

Make sure you include a signed Release Form.  No work will be done until the form is received!

Carefully package your order for shipping. It is best to ship slides in a protective plastic slide box for protection against dust, paper particles and other damage. The slide box should be packed in a larger box with additional packing material. Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for damage in transit, therefore you should insure your shipment to us. Slides n' Moore will return your order in the same protective slide box as received and always insure it with USPS insurance up to the value of your order. If you require additional insurance on your return shipment, complete the "Additional Insurance" entry on your work order.

Policy on Copyrighted Material: In compliance with federal law, Slides n' Moore will not copy or process slides, photographs or other material that is signed, stamped, or otherwise identified as copyrighted material without a release. (RELEASE FORM)

In addition, Slides n' Moore will not copy or process slides, photographs or other material that appear to have been taken by a professional photographer or portrait studio without a release, even if it is not marked with any sort of copyright indication. Slides, photographs, or other material submitted for copying that are more than 75 years old may be copied without a release.

The Slides n' Moore Release Form (RELEASE FORM) must be completed for each order containing any slides, photographs, or any other material that appear to have been taken by a professional photographer or portrait studio.

Disclaimer: Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for damage while in transit to us, therefore we suggest that you insure the shipment. All completed orders are shipped USPS and once again, Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for damage in transit. Therefore, insurance costs will be included in the shipping and handling charges.

Slides n' Moore scans and digitizes your 35mm slides, 35mm negatives, existing photographs and/or documents while filling your order. As in any scanning process, your 35mm slides, 35mm negatives, existing photograph and/or documents will be exposed to bright light. Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for damages, real or perceived, incurred during this process.

Slides n' Moore uses industry supplied equipment for the scanning process. Other than current actual cost of film, slide mounts and/or print paper, Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for any damages, real or perceived.

Price List: At this time Slides n' Moore does not accept credit cards for payment. Please include money order or personal check with your order. No work will be done until payment is received! Most orders will be completed within two weeks after Slides n' Moore receives the order.

Create DVD Slide Show:

Slides n' Moore produces DVD's in either DVD+R or DVD-R. While most older DVD players will not play either of these formats, newer DVD players made in the last few years will play one or the other. Before ordering a DVD slideshow from Slides n' Moore check your DVD player manual to ensure that you order the correct format. Slides n' Moore produces two types of DVD Slide Shows. The first is a simple slide show that displays each slide as a best fit on the TV screen. Most DVD slide shows are made using this technique. Depending on your TV settings, some edge picture data could be missing. Slides n' Moore's premier DVD slide show has each slide framed and optimized to display on a TV screen. This is the technique that you see when regular television displays a slide or still picture. Due to the various factors involved, Slides n' Moore does not currently have a price list item for DVD slideshows. Please eMail us the details of your needs for a detailed price quote. Prints Available: Slides n' Moore offers the following print sizes and styles as standard items. Custom prints and cropping are available on request. Please eMail Slides n' Moore for a price quote.

Print Size Codes:

	A	=>	Final print size 4x6 (4"x6") or smaller
	B	=>	Final print size 5x7 (5"x7") or smaller, but larger than 4x6
	C	=>	Final print size 8x10 (8"x10") or smaller, but larger than 5x7
	D	=>	Custom print size (must be prearranged, customer supplies specifications)

Print Style Codes:

	1	=>	Same size as original, include borders and backing
	2	=>	Same size as original, keep white print border but delete backing
	3	=>	Same size as original, image only, delete borders and backing
	4	=>	Image cropped and resized to fill print size
	5	=>	Custom print (customer supplies specifications)

By their very nature, all slide prints will be either style 4 or 5. All slide images will be enlarged to fill the print size and cropped if necessary.

Document prints will be at original size unless specified otherwise by the customer.

Shipping and Handling: All orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail with a tracking number. Slides n' Moore will carefully package your order for shipping using the same protective slide box your order was received in. Slides n' Moore cannot be responsible for damage in transit, therefore Slides n' Moore will return your order in the same protective slide box as received. It is recommended you insure it with USPS insurance at least up to the value of your order. If desired, more insurance can be applied to cover the value of your slides. Please enter the total amount of insurance and USPS charge for that insurance in the "Insurance" entry on your work order.
