26 Year Old Slide With Insta-Balance

Dig those old slides, photos, snapshots and documents out of storage and archive them on high-resolution digital media. To keep those family heirlooms safe and usable for future generations; Slides n' Moore scans, digitally restores, and archives your slides, photographs, and snapshots to CD/ROM. Slides n' Moore uses digital processes for all processing except the final prints. All restoration and processing is to digital images; original slides, photos, snapshots and documents are only scanned. Final slide, snapshot, and photograph prints are photo quality photographic prints. Various print options are available. All prints larger than 8x10 inches must be pre-approved custom orders.

Slides n' Moore scans and digitizes 35mm slides and negatives. While we can only scan 35mm negatives, any slide in a 2x2 inch mount can be scanned. Since the image area of a 35 mm slide is scanned, some of the picture will be lost on slides larger than 35mm. Slides n' Moore can digitally retouch and restore damaged slides (EXAMPLE) when necessary. We have found Insta-balance (computer generated color balancing) gives most slides vibrant color and enhanced brilliance. If needed, other tools are used to repair and restore your slides.

Slides n' Moore scans existing photographs at scan rate equal to or greater than the slide scan rate to produce a file size optimum for processing and archieving. Given a sharp and clear original, Slides n' Moore has found that these scan rates produce good prints up to 11x14 inches. Slides n' Moore can digitally retouch and restore your damaged photos (EXAMPLE) when necessary. If needed, other tools are used to repair and restore your pictures.

Slides n' Moore can turn your vintage snapshot into a stunning picture. Given a well focused original of moderate size, Slides n' Moore can coax prints up to and exceeding 11x14 inches from one of those amazing little 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch box camera wonders. Slides n' Moore can digitally retouch and restore your damaged snapshots (EXAMPLE) when necessary. If needed, other tools are used to repair and restore your snapshots.

Slides n' Moore can digitally add color to your black and white (b&w) pictures. Slides n' Moore can add, remove, replace and/or modify foreground or background features on your slides and photographs. Even vintage snapshots become eye-catching prints (EXAMPLE).

Slides n' Moore scans your vintage documents at a scan rate necessary for document processing and archieving. When necessary, Slides n' Moore can digitally retouch and restore your damaged documents (EXAMPLE). If needed, other tools are used to repair and restore your documents. Slides n' Moore produces prints up to the size of the original document. Even though your family documents are archieved on high-resolution digital media here at Slides n' Moore , we do not offer a document archival CD/ROM at this time.

Some newer DVD players will play CD/ROM's with *.jpg images. Most of these DVD players have restrictions on image size and number of images recorded on the CD/ROM. Slides n' Moore has found that scanned images reduced by 35% and saved as *.jpg files are compatible with most of the newer DVD players. Slides n' Moore has determined that these reduced *.jpg files produce good prints up to 5x7 inches. Slides n' Moore saves the images on 700MB CD/ROM (CD-R). The images will be saved as full resolution *.jpg files, however they may be reduced by 35% on request. Most of the newer DVD players and retail photo print vendors restrict the number of *.jpg files per CD/ROM. Therefore Slides n' Moore recommends a limit of 200 *.jpg files per CD/ROM. Upon request, the images can be saved as full resolution *.tif files. With files this size, approximately 54 files may be saved to each CD/ROM.
